What would his team be?
Bionicle is one of those things got me genuinely impressed when I discovered it has a fanbase.
Not that I'm hating, but everything else I could see coming. Power Rangers, Transformers or whatever. But this? Yeah.

Probably something like Magmortar, Heatmor, Heatran, Blaziken, Charizard, and Dialga
it would include litten
Any pokemon with parts that get put together
Bionicle is the worst thing to ever happen to Lego.

In what sense?
bad fire pokemon and dialga

well it was liked as a cross between action figures and lego, had a nice story (comic and 3 movies( i dont count the 4th as the fanbase died with the comics)) and you could build quite huge monsters(ca. 2 feet) whats not fanbase worthy?

In that they're terrible sets that didn't encourage creativity, the designs were hideous and the fans are toxic.

well if you looked into it there was quite much creativity(ok,not comparable to "normal" lego), designs are opinion i liked them, every fanbase is toxic to people outside of it (genwonners, steven universe, leage of legends etc.)

Get a load of this guy.
Not every lego line has to appeal to everyone's tastes. That's the whole point of variety. You don't like something, that's fair, find something else that you do like instead.

The first sets were actually great. They had simple mechanisms (that you could make more complex if you wanted), fusions were encouraged, and most pieces could be easily combined with standard lego technic to create your own stuff.
Later sets were a trainwreck, though. Lots of armor plates and retarded cosmetic pieces that were barely interchangeable. Also actual gears and levers were replaced by shiny or transparent stuff without an actual mechanical function. It felt more like standalone action figures, rather than lego sets.
