This, holy shit. That bad, loud motherfucker was an MVP on both of my Hoenn Nuzlockes.
When rse was out and I was a filthy casual, I didn't even know Whismur had a third evolution. I was just raising one for the dex but loudred was actually kind of good so I kept him on my team. Then he surprised me by evolving.
I thought he looked weird....but he became one of my best pokemon.

Back in middle school I had this dream where I got a poke in real life and at first I was disappointed with it, but noticed it was like me, when I woke up that's all I remembered. So I tried to place it, and decided on whismur. Used to write stories about me and him. Probably blew up the school a few times since I was that kid

I used it on a blind Ruby run, A big surprise coming from Whismur that I only caught because I thought it looked cute.
Not a favorite, but he's ok
People will love it more in SM once it's reclassified as Sound-type.

I liked mine a lot as a kid. For some reason he felt really strong similar to Raticate, both being normal pokemon but having seemingly high attack.
And I LOVED screech which seemed to make him even better. 2 screech and they have more than half of their DEF cut
