I suppose this will explain why we will have a lot of old pokemon in Alola. The real question is, how many would the NEW pokemon be? What is the ratio of old:new pokemon?

Don't really know but lately GF has made the gap between generations smaller and giving us fewer mons. But we cant know for sure. Personally 100 new mons + 20 megas would please me.

I'd imagine the amount of Pokemon from Gen 1 will be low in order to give people incentive to get RBY and transfer their Pokemon over.

I hope that's it's like R/S Focus on new pokemon but a few old mons begin in there,im not a fan of the extremes like BW and XY did,They where still awesome games and i enyoed both games like usual,so it's more of a preferance.
