Stop assuming that everyone who supports trans people is the same type of tumblr retard spewing the same bullshit. Male and female brains are different. MtFs have female brains, FtMs have male brains. The reason this happens is because, when a fetus' brain is developing, it accidentally receives a dose of the wrong sex hormone. This changes the way its brain develops. This also explains the reason why MtFs are more common than FtMs. Since all fetuses develop in women, it's more likely that a male fetus receives a dose of female sex hormones than a female fetus receives a dose of male sex hormones.
Gender is not fluid, your brain can't swap between male and female. Just because some tumblrinas made up a snowflake condition for oppression points doesn't make it true.

Also, you're confusing SRS (the surgery to give a transperson a vagina/penis) with transition is general. Many people may regret or not want SRS, not because they don't want to change their genitals but because they're not happy with the current techniques or results of the surgery.
Furthermore, I can guarantee you that many of these people with regrets only have regrets because they failed to pass, weren't happy with how others treated them, etc. If you offered these people a magic pill that could turn them 100% into a cis person of their preferred sex, I can guarantee you that they would take it. Just because people may not always be happy with the current results or methods doesn't mean that they are bad or that we should stop using them. Does chemotherapy have a 100% success rate? No. Does this mean we shouldn't use it to treat cancer? Of course not. Likewise, does a gender transition have a 100% success rate in treating dysphoria? No. But it's still more successful than any method we currently have.

The reason being is that there is nothing wrong with a trans person's brain. Their brains are healthy, they are just in the wrong body; they're incompatible. There is nothing wrong with the brain or the body, they just don't fit, if that makes sense. This is why it's not a mental illness. Dysphoria with how their body is and what social roles and expectations they have is the problem, which is caused by the incompatibility. I know this seems hard to understand, but that's how it is. Dysphoria is the problem that needs to be treated, not being trans.
Furthermore, even if you believed being trans was a problem that needed to be treated, no one has found an effective way to do that. Therapy doesn't work, repression doesn't work, drugs don't work. The only treatment that has been effective in treating dysphoria is transition, and it's a hell of a lot easier to change someone's body than it is to change their brain.

You misunderstand. Mentally, a MtF and a cis women are the same. Magically turning an MtF into a cis women doesn't change who they are. Their brain is the same, who they are is the same, the only thing that changed is their body. Hence, there is nothing wrong with their brain, their mind - who they are. The problem is that there is a disconnect with their body. That is what needs to be treated, the disconnect, not their sense of self. A trans person would be able to function perfectly fine if their body fit their mind. This is the difference between being trans and something like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. With those, the problem is in the brain itself, you could change their body as much as you like and their brain would still have the problems that it did before. To cure them, you would have to change their brain itself. That is why those are mental disorders, but being trans is not. To treat gender dysphoria, you don't need to change the brain at all, you only need to change their body. The brain is not a problem.
