Their names are different words I looked up in Wikipedia and words I liked meshed together. I don't remember what they meant.

Now that I've looked up a little, the pattern I did is:
-Swampert's name: Ambystoma mexicanum plus random finalization.
-Swellow's name: Hirundinidae (Y instead of I) plus random finalization.
-Medicham's name: Shiva plus random finalization.
-Manectric's name: number ten + volt.
-Aggron's name: explains itself.
The only one I can't remember is Banette's name.
It's just a fucking mess of overthinking. Pic somewhat related, the names of my pokémon in Y are much simpler and more understandable.
