Noivern and Tyrantrum immediately jumped to my two favorite dragon types, and Tyrantrum managed to steal second favorite slot from Lapras.

Caught a Furfrou on a whim, I expected it to just be another pure normal shitmon. It's actually surprisingly usable, at least as far an an in game run is concerned. Cotton Guard made it tanky as hell and that combined with Rocky Helmet saved my ass a couple of times.

Plus I probably had more fun that I should've dressing it up in the different styles.

I don't understand why people act like Talonflame was the first of its kind, as far as an early route pokemon not being a shitmon is concerned. Staraptor and Swellow were both very usable back in their era, the only reason you don't see them anymore is because Smogonbird stole their niche. Ninjask was also pretty good if we're talking bugs.

Tyrantrum's probably my favorite rock type, and definitely the only fossilmon I've ever used.

I don't care if he was a typical Gen 6 freebie, getting him by the second gym was a good call, I hated how the fossil trio in Gen 1 weren't relevant until Cinnabar, and even then they were absurdly underleveled.
