I have only owned and played Gen 3 games. SM is the first new pokemon game I have been interested in enough to consider purchase. I'm even going to get a 3DS for it. I just want to see if SM runs better on the New 3DS before I decide which version to buy.
I base my love and hate of different generation on the roster of pokemon in that generation. I have never played Gen 2 but I think it has the best pokemon and is therefore the best gen. I hate gen 4 pokemon and think it's a bad gen even when I have never played it.

I have never once missed a generation, though I do have some down time in-between major releases before a new generation starts. I am 21 now. Most of my childhood memories were consumed by Pokemon, and many important milestones in my life were accompanied by an on-going adventure. Sassy ones don't get along with the Relaxed ones.
The Brave and Careful have troubles but Brave gets along with Hasty, Sassy works well with the Lonely nature ones and Careful works with Timid ones.

I only ever use regular pokeballs no matter what and I try to have teams that have a nice color distribution
I like to do the opposite and use pokemon that are mostly the same color, with maybe 4 different colors at most. I also only use pokemon that look similar too so I'll have a team of reptiles, or mammals. Because of this I always use a bat pokemon when my starter is a mammal so that I can fly. Probably going to have an all bird team if they don't fuck up rowlets evolution.

I'm obsessed with breeding. Before gen 6 I didn't have a console and played on emulators. When I completed XY I sarted breeding for EVERY single pokemon I liked which is a lot since I dont dislike that many pokes but after I finished I started shiny hunting which is even worse I collect 10-20 boxes of eggs and then hatch them. Ive lost count and I wanted to go in a battle to see how many eggs I hatched but what pisses me is I can't I can't stop breeding I haven't even used any of my pokemon in wifi battles only rarely which saddens me since I love battling. But I swore once SM gets out I'll only have to breed the new mons and thats it I'll only battle like normal people.
