Pokemon needs to grow up. Your just a normal kid whose just moved. Your "rival" murders your family shortly after your arrival. At the same time the evil team is burning the village down and killing everyone in their path.
You black out but survive the attack and stumble across 3 pokeballs. You only have time to grab one because a grunt has spotted you and you have to battle.
The game is then based around you trying to avenge the towns people and your family while uncovering mysterious that revolve around your rival and the evil team.
I know it will never happen but oh well a man can dream.

But I will say that I would appreciate another story like X/Y, mixed with the characters of B/W. B/W had great characters, especially in 2, but the story was weak. N was good as a character and in writing, IMO, but he wasn't good for the story. Meanwhile, Lysandre and co. had a cool story in X/Y with the ancient weapon and all that shit, but the writing was garbo and he was just a jackass.
