Injected Pokemon are considered legit. I bet there are hundreds of other people with the same exact Pokemon trainer name and all.
You could use it if you like and nothing would happen.
I've received quite a few of those from AusTv or something. I love getting the free items attached to them then I just box them for collection.
After trading a box full of Skorupis, only thing of note I got was a pentaperfect Rash Ghastly.
