M, 1994. Choices reflective of my actual first pick. Never been a fan of water types. Chose Turtwig because I wanted to switch it up, but I still like the chimchar line. Chose snivy because I really don't like the tepig line. When Pignite got revealed I was really hopeful and didn't mind the typing. Emboar dashed my hopes and I can honestly say it's the only fire line I dislike.
Current gen, I'm not really impressed by the starters. I have no preference so as it stands I'll pick Litten (firefag fo lif) but it really depends on final/mid evos
