After one Gym you have to trade your starter for a Riolu. You can't say no (your starter will come back to you just so it can be traded if you release it) and the Riolu can't be taken out of your party.
Half of the new pokemon are legendaries, bringing the grand total of the pokedex up to 790
I am seriously getting so sick and fucking tired of legendaries. 6 was enough as it was. I'd honestly prefer 5 or 4.

Gen 6 felt like it had too few Legendaries, honestly. I mean six would be a fine number if only one was an event, but we only had three (3) non-event Legendaries in total, which is ridiculous.
