What Gen have you put the most time into and is it the Gen you enjoy to replay the most?
For Me, I probably put the most amount of time into Gen VI with breeding, battling, and finishing my pokedex.
I think the Gen I replay the most though is Gen IV or V.
VI, since everything is a lot more accessible. Though my favourite games and the ones I replay the most are BW, BW2 and HG/SS.

I'm pretty sure I played gen 2 the most, followed by gen 4 (mainly because of battle tower)

Probably gen iv. I used to work a job where I just sat there all day waiting for customers, and DP had just come out, so I played them all day. For about four years.

Started with genwun. Gentoo is the one I put the most time into and had the most enjoyment. I replay Emerald the most since it has the turbo speed up and frontier which makes for interesting things with randomizers and such.

I think FRLG is the perfect pokemon game. Anything else either has useless features or doesn't look as good and isn't as playable or polished.
Soul Silver and Platinum are my most played games.
BW2 close behind that.
All three of those were mostly because of regular game play, a little breeding, and lots of battling. I enjoy those the most.
I bred the most pokes in gen vi. The only reason they have even close to a comparable playtime is because of the Maison. Skipped it in XY but got all of the trophy/statues in ORAS.

This, but I lean toward Gen IV. Platinum and HG/SS are both probably my personal favorite games in the series and I feel they compliment each other well.
Crystal and X. I replay Y and ORAS all the time because I just used Bank to start my adventure with a team of 6 that I want for the entire game.

3's definitely the one I put the most time into.
As for replay enjoyment, 2, 3 (especially FRLG) and 5 are pretty golden.

Forgot to say why I've spent so much time in 3.
Pretty long Gen, the first with remakes, and the last before I started looking shit up online, so a lot of time was lost trying to discover shit.
Particularly in RSE, but I looked around every nook and cranny of the Sevii Islands too.
Also, I learned to breed and the battle frontier was a pretty new and exciting thing. In later gens I rarely bothered with the battle facilities with the exception of the PWT.

As a kid with absolutely nothing to do, I can guess I spent the most time on gen 2 (first pokemon game). If we're talking more recent games, I spent around the same amount of time with W2 and Y (around 160 hours), but more quality time was spent with W2.

Generation I played the most has to be 2. Followed by 1 and 3. I've played several times every game of these generations. They're easier to replay than the newer generation. Especially GEN 2.
The game where I put most hours though is probably Black 2: that game has a godly postgame content and tons of things to do.
Probably 4. Where I live, Nintendo consoles only became more or less widespread when DS came (widespread as in they were actually sold in shops for an affordable price, not like they were actually popular). I had no idea Pokemon was games first, anime second so I dived into Diamond without any knowledge what a Pokemon game is like. From 2007 to 2012 I replayed it continuously like 5 or 6 times.

same here. Started with gen 1 though. Hoenn to me is the most comfy gen because I live in europe and that semi tropical setting helps a lot. I really hope the 7th gen will elaborate on that. Revisiting the region in ORAS was a blast. The region I hate the most? 4 (not the game, not the pokemon, the region).

And no, I enjoy replaying gen V way more since that came out.
