But Yugioh as a game is pretty bad and so is the anime(except Season 0 which is my jam). Still fun, though.
Digimon games aren't too bad, but Tamers is the only Digimon anime worth watching(as well as the movies).

Any idea why the second half of Gen II was so bad? It's the fucking awful level curve, resulting from lack of linearity. While I don't think the games should be completely linear, GF can design much better enemies when they have a rough estimate of your level by the time you reach them.

The only games that I can remember being truly non-linear are the Kanto and Johto games, solely because you can challenge a few of the gyms in any order (which is actually terrible for the game's balance because completeting one gym will overlevel you for the others.)
