Something crazy just happened to me

The thing they don't tell you about shinies is that once you start getting them, they just keep coming.

similar thing happened to me about a month ago, i was talking to a friend about how the shiny encounter rate had been lower from 1/8000 to 1/4000 in X. Looking for a Nidorino in grass, Nidorina keep showing up, already have one. Finally a Nidorino shows up. Or so i thought, it was a shiny Nidorina with the Nidorino color palette.
I was reading a walkthrough of some cave in Pkemon White 2 i believe (so that I didn't miss any items) and the author mentions the shiny Onix he found. Two steps later I find myself face to face with a shiny onix. Was neat
RNG is the worst.
When I first tried MMing, I got a shiny chespin in 25 eggs. I tried it again and didn't get a shiny Torchic until 1200 eggs.

seen a shiny yanma during a swarm in one of the gen 2 games but it ran away
