Ice is one of the best offensive types in the game. The problem with Ice as a type has nothing to do with the type itself and everything to do with Game Freak's design philosophy when it comes to making Ice-type Pokemon.
Bug, meanwhile, is not only one of the worst offensive types, it's also mediocre as a defensive type.

Bug flying it is perfect the way it is and if you don't understand that I think you are short sighted. The Japanese word for dragonfly has nothing to do with dragons. It may be a common type but it makes the type its own. It's bug that flies fast as fuck and uses air slashes
