For starters, Mega-Evolution isn't Evolution.
Disregarding that, you're basing your argument on a "pattern", which is about as trustworthy as a horoscope. You're making the assumption that Gamefreak follows some archaic law that dictates what they can or cannot have within a game depending on whether or not it's an even or odd numbered generation.
