Well, XY had some Grade A+ midriff-baring outfits; only two of them though. And that was for a region based on France, not exactly known for hot weather.
Compare that to a region based on Hawaii, and that the female protag's shirt is already tied in a knot, and it's almost a 100% guarantee that if customization is in, midriff-baring is in as well. High def navel isn't such a guarantee, but it should look a lot nicer on the full-size models.
