I hated Sinnoh and GEN IV until I actually played Platinum.
That region is cozy and fucking HUGE as fuck.
Sinnoh had a nice layout, but I barely remember any of the towns. On the other hand I remember all of Unova's.

"by map" an in, how the region looks on a map. sinnoh looks pretty good, everything seems to be in it's proper place. unova and kalos had random deserts in weird places and the areas didn't feel like they flowed together well
i put kalos last because the actual map is fucking hideous. i didn't really like any of the towns except for snowbelle (and of course, snowbelle's placement is another issue) even though unova had it's problems, each area felt unique.
i don't hate kalos though, it just... has it's issues, is all
