It was another trademarked name that surfaced along with Solgaleo, Lunaala, and the Japanese starter names. If the trademarks were filed together because they all appeared at the same time, it doesn't make sense that Marshadow would be the 3rd legend because they wouldn't reveal that shit before the first two games come out anyway

It was trademarked alongside the Japanese names of the starters(aka what spawned most of those fakes), plus Solgaleo and Lunaala.
It should be easy to figure out what "Mars Shadow" implies when dealing with outer space sun and moon legendaries.
