Oh, no Pokemon Amie is great. Could use some tweaks but still a fun little system.
I'm talking more about cutscenes in the game encorporating more pokemon than just the Legendaries.
While it can't include the player's pokemon too much since that's highly variable outside of that first scene with your starter,
every other trainer has set pokemon and I'd want to see some direct, possibly more cinematic shots with humans and their pokemon interacting.

Don't kid yourself dude. Litten is just a vanilla-ass housecat that breaths fire. It's a completely safe, palatable design with standard appeal that won't do anything interesting. It's what people have always wanted and it will deliver what they expect.
Greninja came out of fucking nowhere with its cutting-edge look and playstyle and swept the fandom by storm. Impeccable combination of cool, cute and silly, simple but amazingly compatible ninja frog concept, and a memorable design that conveys it perfectly. It was not only intrinsically risky but even more so for replacing the bubble theme, but the risk paid off.
Litten simply won't have the same impact. It's too plain, and doesn't stand out from the others. Sure it will probably be viable just by virtue of its role, but there is no reason to believe it will get special treatment, especially when its counterparts are much more interesting. And it sure as hell won't be Greninja.
