I can't believe Serena is leaving us already
What I would like for the new female protag's plotline is a mix of Dawn's and Serena's.
Dawn had a lot of focus, that was cool and all, but ultimately her character development was really tame. She just went from genki girl to genki girl with more genki. At least she was fun.
Serena's character development was akin to XY's fights generally speaking, great but short. It started really late and finished a bit too soon imo. Quality over quantity is cool and all, but now that they raised tha ante so much, I won't stand for anything else short of the best of the two worlds.
But I will probably quit the anime if they don't keep Aito and Nishiya anyway.

Well, 43 votes is probably representative enough for /padt/, even considering shitposters and anons who change IPs.
According to this, a quarter of you will keep watching Pokemon no matter what. A little less than another quarter is on the fence, not knowing whether they'll continue or drop it and not even gravitating towards one option in particular. Same percentage for the ones who gravitate towards not watching it anymore, but aren't entirely convinced about it. Finally, 14% of /padt/ will leave for good after Kalos, and the same percentage will probably (not definitely) keep watching the anime.
Now, if we assume that half of the "not sure" will decide to keep watching, and 3/4ths of the "most probably yes" will do the same, then roughly 48% of /padt/ will be posting here in a year. In other words, I'd expect to see less than 25 unique IPs on the page count at any time.
But hey, I'm no statistician. I'm probably just a faggot full of shit and with a lot of free time.

Eps are produced months in advance so I wouldn't be surprised if the animators are already working on eps that air in September and October. Thinking out loud here, if XYZ is ending later this year, at nearly the exact release of SUMO, why would the anime start on a region where there is still little information? wouldn't it be more likely that they instead do another season like the Battle Frontier in AG, using elements that are already in existence, or making more as they go along? Serena could potential remain as well.

The matter is that the new series always begin around the launch of the new games. In the case of AG and Battle Frontier is that DP was still ways off, so far we know that by July the Team Flare plot will be done, but from that between November we don't know when the league is meant to begin if right after or a while later and even if it begins right after TF, we don't know how long it'll be(I bet less than 10 eps) nor what could happen if League ends like 2 months before Sun/Moon releases.
I'm not even sure if I'm buying SM. I haven't touch my 3DS since last year and I rather spend my money in other vidya, Gen VI was dissapointing and VII doesn't look any better plus I hate it's based on Hawaii, fuck Hawaii.
