Anti Zodiacfags are holding on the the idea that the newly released "Litten" is likely a domestic house cat rather than a Tiger cub. Regardless of the outcome, due to the controversial inclusion of the Cyndaquil and Fenniken lines, arguments between the Anti Zodiacfags and the Zodiacfags are likely to last into the 2020 Gen 8 games, Pokemon Soft and Pokemon Wet.

New Protagonist options have been revealed including the unveiling of a new dark brown skin tone. Some in /vp/ have taken a negative view of the skin tone stating "If I wanted Blacks to be in Pokemon, I'd just play as the gen 5 Protag". Others praise the design and find the female version..."A Cute" and the two darker male options having "More personality" than their lighter counterparts.
Specialists estimate that approval of these new skin tones will go up as more Porn is drawn in the coming months.

I apologize that I thought that the Roothoot leak was real. I had forgotten that the trademarked Japanese names were also leak so anyone can pretty much know the grass starter was going to be an owl. I was also a denialfag for the ORAS new box forms. I thought they were new forms or variations for Kyogre and Groudon but definitely not megas. While they are not technically megas they are functionally megas. I got BTFO.

I don't know why this "zodiac" shit is even still a thing. It has been thoroughly disproven by now, even if we completely ignore Gen VII. Well, now that I think about it, that's not true, it has been confirmed that /vp/ is primarily underage, and age seems to have a correlation with willingness to let go when proven wrong.

The thing with the Zodiac is that unless something absolutely non-faunal comes out, it'll be shoe horned into a zodiac somehow or another. Or, hell, we get a proper dog or rat fire starter.
Look at Cyndaquil. Sure, it's a mouse, but it evolves into a badger and bear. Charizard's a dragon, but Charmander's a salamander or at least just a lizard. Why does Cyndaquil count when it's evolutions don't but Charmander count even though it's final evolution is the only dragon? Fennekin is a fox, but it "counts" as a dog for some reason, despite these animals having very distinct symbology across the world. And this is all despite Chimchar and Teppig not requiring any such bullshittery to slot into the Zodiac. Chimchar and Teppig even have vaguely chinese mythological aesthetics. If there is a pattern, why do so many of the starters need a bunch of qualifiers and other don't? Why shouldn't all of them be obvious or all of them be "subtle?"
The Zodiac pattern has always been "well, if you pick and choose to ignore different things about different starters, you can sort of pretend it fits." Litten could evolve into a scarred, badass tomcat that's obviously a play off of Hawaii's numerous feral cats and not a tiger at all, and people would still go "well, it's got lines and it's a feline, so it counts as a Tiger."
At it's core, the Zodiac pattern isn't about noticing a trend in each fire starter and drawing it out of the examples, it's about taking a preconceived perspective and ignoring what doesn't fit into it with each example in order to justify it. The reasoning is totally ass backwards.

I now think that this leak was started by someone who got a quick look at Rowlet and Popplio, but either didn't see or didn't remember Litten. It explains so much of why Nyabby in particular looked like garbage.
