This made the impact of this shit sea lion design all the more worse. We already got a sea lion for a Water starter. Before people regurgitate what they read on bulbapedo about giant otters, actually look one up. Samurott's head is nothing like a giant otter, with that narrow sea lion snout.
Maybe Popplio's final form will look like a clownish otter, as a sort of switched at birth gag.
