You need to take into account Megaevolutions. They count as pokemon in terms of a design perspective.
And I can see them possibly leaving out mega evolutions this time around. I mean it is an island out in the middle of the ocean, detached from the rest of the world.... right?
Anything less than 90 new non megas is a flat out pirate for me, and I saw this as a man buying 3 copies of each 3DS DQ game to support them.
