Grass is usually a bad type and flying has a lot of weaknesses.
Pretty bad looking for Birb if it does end up the defensive one unless it learns some broke-ass signature moves or HA.

Fact: A Pokemon's design should come first and have an effect on his stats, moveset, etc, which will then make it viable or not.
At no point should the idea of making something competitive should be the starting point when you create a Pokemon. Interesting stat spread, new typing, sure, all fine ideas. But thinking GF should design a Pokemon with the clear goal of making it OU is retarded.
It's the same as saying "X should be in Smash because it has potential fora moveset". It,s missing the point of why something is in the game in the first place. For Smash it's basically celebrating Nintendo at large, for Pokemon it's creating a world. Not being "competitive".

I see the longtail coat. I don't see how the leaf on its back is involved at all though. it's just not the right colour, the main colour has definitely got to be its light brown feather COAT.
