I took into consideration all evo forms exept for gen 7, where i looke only for 1st stage.
I also had in my mind all the anime apparences.
Extra note: oshawot gets better as he evolves, with his 1st stage is shit, 2nd is meh/good and 3rd is good. Also chikorita got a lot of points for bayleef. And Ash's bayleef in anime, with is one of my favorite pokemons in anime if not the best.
All based purely on my first impressions since I'm not a contrarian faggot who constantly adjusts his opinion based on what other shitters are saying.
Also there will never be a worse starter design than Chikorita.
