Eh, it wasn't really THAT big of a deal. People have such a huge phobia of them that goes beyond basic hygienics, but they're completely harmless, and they can be just as clean as they are dirty when raised in sterile environment by pet roach owners. I learned a few interesting things about them through association and find them as pest to be a little fascinating (but not enough to be those very "pet" owners, I've seen enough in my life)
I'm kind of an enabler too because I wouldn't actively kill them, whenever I saw one I'd just catch it with something and release it outside, or toss them in a trash bag before taking it out. The way I saw it was they were there because of how we choose to live, and they're just following their primitive instinct, there's no reason to kill them when it's our own fault.
I wish they'd tweak rock -type somehow. It has too many weaknesses so i never end up using one.
