With the Sun/Moon mascot reveal being hours away..
Wouldn't it be neat if it turned out Gen7 legends were mirroring and complementing the Gen6 legends?
With XYZ-legend designs sharing black as their prevalent secondary colour, the Sun/Moon-themed legends of Gen7 then having white in their designs instead.
That would also imply a third legendary (which would hardly be surprising to anybody anyway), initially revealed in an inferior state but having multiple forms that are equivalents to those of Zygarde.
What would the definite "third"-symbol to Sun and Moon be?
Star? (simple but kind of dumb considering the Sun is a star, probably legit possibility from a symbollic/mythological standpoint though)
Comet? (tons of mythological material coming with that one)
I'd pick Eclipse. It's what you get when combining Sun and Moon and is thematically interesting, due to it being a combination of the 2 "light sources" (in primitive mindset) in the sky, yet resulting in darkness (with just as much useful doomsday-baggage as the comet-option)

Nice idea. I realy like your pic related. Its in the colours, man. : 3
>>26227280
Could the jew be behind this?
As much as I like the theory the symbol looks nothing like eclipse.
>>26227363
Sorry, didn't mean for the sixth symbol in the picture to represent eclipse. Just made some similar basic design to go along with the other two regardless of what the third "theme" will actually turn out to be, if any.
>>26227280
>the Sun is a star
Is this bait?
>>26227386
Considering the third trademarked name that came with Solgaleo and Lunaala was "Marshadow", I think it's safe to assume that the third Legendary's theme is going to be eclipses.
>>26227399
sauce?
>>26227401
It was trademarked along with the Mukoroh, Nyabby, Ashimari, Solgaleo and Lunaala. Go look it up on Google or YouTube.
>>26227401
>>26227429
マーシャドー
wouldn't that be more something like MAASHADOO?
>>26227280
>green and red make orange
>blue and green make a lighter blue
Okay.
>>26227484
Written literally, yes. When transcribed in English, "aa" usually becomes "ah" or "ar", while "oo" usually becomes "oh" or "ow".
>>26227280
>What would the definite "third"-symbol to Sun and Moon be?
A comet.
A moon legendary would probably be fairy type and a sun legendary would probably be a fire type (or at least they would be in part).
A legendary based on a comet would probably be a dual type of ice and water which would give a pretty cool advantage over both the other legends if the rumours of ice being made super effective against fairy in an effort to fix it are true.
>>26227497
Red and green doesn't make orange. It makes yellow. And yes, an equal amount of blue and green makes cyan, which is basically a light blue.
And before any of you fags try to tell me green isn't a primary colour and yellow is, fuck you. Yellow is only a primary colour when talking about paint and crayons. Everything else uses red/GREEN/blue. Light, your eyes, your brain, your computer screen. Everything else (except printers, they use cyan/magenta/yellow, which is the opposite of red/green/blue).
>>26227399
Could also, though significantly less likely, be Mars.
Effectively "other planets", a scope bigger than the moon and smaller than the sun that also counters Zygarde's earthly theme.
>>26227560
It would be very interesting to have another planet involved in the Pokémon universe, but I think it's rather unlikely that we'd get 9 legendaries all based on the solar system, and just ONE based on a moon, which just so happens to be our own. I wonder why "Mars" is part of the name though, I hope they explain that in-game.
>>26227560
I was thinking just that.
Now I want a fucking mecha battle.
>>26227280
Man that's so good to look at for some reason.
>>26227386
>the Sun is not a star
Is this bait?
>>26228529
I bet you think owls are birds, too
>>26228540
No, that's ridiculous
>>26227280
Question, why not use the god tier logos, rather than your shit tier ones?
>>26227552
You're talking out your ass here, and you're wrong.
>>26227530
>A moon legendary would probably be fairy type
Why not Dark and/or Ghost?
>>26228607
Because fairy type is associated with the moon
>>26228607
>le dark is literal darkness meme
Probably because fairy has a bunch of moon themed moves?
>>26227280
Oh look another Zycuck!
ZYGARDE FORMES ARE ANIME EXCLUSIVE YOU DIP
3rd is a black hole
>>26228607
Because moonlight is still light so doesn't fit with dark type (a moonless, dark night would be different though so if there was an eclipse based pokemon I could see that as being a dark type)
>>26228585
He's right familia
>>26228585
Go back to kindergarten, you have to be 18+ to post here.
>>26227280
You was right nigga good job
>>26227280
Wow, you fucking nailed it
>>26227280
Good shit man, you were on the ball
>>26232211
>>26232977
>>26234086
It wasn't really hard to get right. It's literally just saying "I think they'll be white because the previous ones were black". At least 50% of the fandom saw this coming in some regard.
>>26228582
Because I had to invent a sixth hypothetical one anyway, so I made simpler substitutes for the rest to make a simple graphic
>>26234752
Fair enough.
Part of the prediction is that this would imply a white counterpart to Zygarde including its complete forme, colours of S/M-legends, as well as the same 5 hexagon pattern, with the white hexagons swapped for black ones.
Now I'm more excited about that being a serious possibility.
The legends are also once again a quadruped-land-dwelling creature and a winged one. So the third one underground again?
The colors are off now though, with the Moon legendary being darker shades than Xerneas, as well as leaning towards purple.
Unless the third one is a turquoise-shade and goes right next to Zygardes more lime-like shade.
>>26227280
>>26235943
Now we can rely on the logos instead.
2.0
>>26227362
>YFW the bad guy team is the Jewish mafia.
Oh vey
>>26227552
RGB makes more sense being that this is Pokemon, anyways.
If there is another legendary for Sol and Luna then there would probably be a Zygarde 200% Form. Six different colored Zygarde cores come together.
