You know what really kills my hype? Dataminers.
Most of the "wow it fucking nothing!" mentality when Hoopa, Volcanion, and Mega Lati@s were officially announced comes from the fact that dataminers spoiled their existence, thus creating a vacuum of hypeless shitposting. Just look at how /vp/ was when Perfect Zygarde and Magearna were announced to prove my point.

Well, I remember with XY with E3 the E3 airing before CoroCoro revealed a few new Pokemon like Vivillon and Noivern, but then we got Litleo and Flabebe in CoroCoro.
