Well I've been away from /vp/ for a while so I missed a lot of the initial shitstorm, and I think owl is fake because it's drawn very poorly. The eyes are too differently sized and the beak connecting the eyes doesn't make any sense anatomically wise. Try to picture the owl's beak in 3D, you really can't.
Then again I did believe that pic related was legit and that the leaked Greninja evo was fake (the one that was a pic of the Summary screen where people were comparing the font in WATER). So anything can happen. But I don't think owl is real.
