Returns a Pokemon to its former evolution for 3 turns or until swapped out.
Can be used repeatedly for each evolution and each time refreshes the duration. Works on megas as well.
How does this affect the meta /vp/ ?
Also new move ideas.

there are too many complications this would cause, and it's the reason why Megas never get a higher HP stat.
but, if we ignore that, and we assume that this isn't a one-mon gimmick move, non-evolving stuff would probably dominate. or people could pull some surprise eviolite bait shenanigans, i dunno.
Best idea I've ever heard.

I don't about all pokemon become badly poisoned but maybe the pokemon next to it
How about an ability instead?
>Dissolve Skin
When hit by an attack super-effective against Ice or Rock, reduces damage taken and changes typing (Rock to Ground, Ice to Water, any type besides those four are removed)
IE
Snover/Abomasnow with Dissolve Skin is hit by Fire. It goes from Grass/Ice to Water.
Kabuto/Kabutops with Dissolve Skin is hit by Fighting. It goes from Rock/Water to Ground/Water
Amaura/Aurorus is hit by fire and becomes Water/Rock. If hit by Grass, it becomes Ice/Ground. If hit by Fighting, it becomes Water/Ground.
It probably wouldn't be especially useful but I like the idea of types changing when hit.

Gives decent STAB to everyone.
