well fast lvl pokemon like caterpie need 800,000 for lvl 100, start area pokemon are around 18-26 exp per battle, say 5 seconds begin to end each battle and 3 seconds between battles running grass
800,000 / 22(avg) = 36,363 Battles
36,363 * 5 * 3 = 545,454 Seconds
