that's what people did for the mega lucario ban - they pulled out statistics, showed that mega luke was simply too strong for OU, and then rightfully got it kicked out

if you're talking about the make up of the meta, like VGC's "six same mons" criticism or the fact that smogon is literally filled with kids and high school dropouts, then mostly it's just overly defensive vocal fags trying to justify insecurity
