So everyone, Arcanine runs 6,200 miles in a day and night, therefore 6,200 divided by 24 is a maximum 258.33 miles per hour, divided by an Arcanine's max speed stat, 317 (at level 100, with a helpful nature) is .814931650893796, this is the equivolent of one pont in speed.
To find the speed that your pokemon runs (in miles per hour) multiply their speed stat by the previous number.

You could've done this with Rapidash (who runs at 150 mph) or any other Pokemon whose speed is listed in the dex and gotten a completely different equation, though. I guess I don't see the point since it only works for Arcanine specifically.
