Hoopa-U in my book is probably the most badass and less forced dark type in the series. Most dark types are literally animals with a side of "edgelord" appeal painted on them rather than dark types who are dark and edgy by concept (like Houndoom). Hoopa U is literally a demonic genie. A Demonic genie who is a blend the mystic knowledgeable magical aspects of genies and the ruthless, brutal, trickery-obsessed nature of demons. And Hoopa-U executes the idea brilliantly well.

Darkrai has been my favorite Dark-type and Pokemon since seeing its movie when I was in middle school.

They literally could've made it this thing Normal/Poison. Skunks are not evil at all, they're just ordinary pieceful creatures with a unique defense mechanism. Being a dark type is seems more forced than justified on it.

I love when people try to bust out Darkrai on battle spot doubles and I counter it with a Prankster Safeguard followed by a Drain Punch from the partner.
