My sister tried playing Pokemon before when her DS got broke so she started playing my Pokemon game. Unfortunately at that same time, the only Pokemon game I had at the time was Yellow. Personally I hate Gen 1. I think if she'd played any other Pokemon game and not Gen 1, then she'd have become a long time fan.

Wrong. Only plebs does not play the games actually. SD was a good place few years ago, it's still a nice spot for battling but the community degenerated as fuck and now it's filled with 12 yo. Why? Because it's free, that's why whaleshit games like Hearthstone, Clash Royale, Cracked Minecraft, etc are popular right now.
