So there's been talk about Jackie 4chan possibly lifting the 18+ rule on some boards, and its a well known fact that /vp/ has the youngest userbase on this site.
This survey was created to give a rough idea of the demographic age of this board to determine whether the decision should be to keep it 18+, change to 16+ or to remove age restrictions altogether. Remember to answer truthfully as this is anonymous and may affect the future of this board.

Keeping Pokemon safe for the young 'uns is probably a very good idea. I know it sounds very Moral Guardianish, but no kid should have to run into the more bizarre stuff that shows up here, especially if they are the sort that doesn't know such things exist yet.

Yes, but it is also possible to inadvertently end up here. Someone randomly looking for pokemon stuff on the internet has a reasonable chance of stumbling their way here after following a link or two.
Imagine, for instance, that someone wandering around the internet saw something about this "Roothoot" business that has been storming for the past few days, and followed a source or two back here. Lo and behold, the 18+ rule has been lifted and they quickly make new discoveries in the field of human-pokemon relations.
It isn't an everyday occurrence, of course. And I'm not the sort to suggest all the more questionable content be cleaned up either. A good pantyshot or breasted Braixen has never hurt anyone. But at the very least keep the most explicit stuff stashed elsewhere in that uncommon case that someone follows the Pokemon here and ends up with more than they bargained for. The adults here can go track down their own Pokeporn just fine. Maybe someone unwittingly finds something like this elsewhere, but at least it wouldn't be on this site's hands.

OP here. None of the OP was true, I just wanted to see whether the cancer and cringe on this board was caused by an influx of kids or just embarrassing excuses for adults. Seems like about a fifth of this board is underage which doesn't add up with the 90:10 cancer to quality ratio of this board, so it looks like the problem is more of a mix of both kids and retards rather than just kids like I thought and kind of hoped.

What we have is a Last Crusade problem. You say you want to talk, but then, you can't think of anything. Or do you believe that you can't speak of it? There's only a couple things I can think of off the top of my head that the mods will shut down even if nobody really finds a problem with it (as long as it's contained).
1. Furry discussion. Underline discussion. Porn is outright not allowed.
2. RP threads. Apparently, they even hate you if you comment in them.
The other thing that I would say is more a common trait of the people here, and that can vary at times. That being personal interpretation of the pokemon world, particularly if it defies the main series' portrayal. (even if nothing else official follows it at all)
