The three heads take on the characteristics of their tri-attack.
One head is fire themed, one head is ice themed, and the third head is electric themed. The rest of the body is fancied up a bit.

I came up with an idea for a mega dodrio some time ago. The concept was to give Dodrio a third leg in which it rears back on and thus uses the front two as claws. Seems silly/cool enough for a mega.

I like the "Tri-Attack" theme.
Give it an ability that makes special attacks physical, and its golden.
Or give it Parental Bond 2.0. It gets three hits to each attack. The meta is screwed anyways, why not let Dodrio run it?

I want Dusknoir to get a mega and Shuppet to get a pre-evo. Sure Gamefreak will find a way to make Duslnoir more detailed, but I don't see how they could make Shuppet less detailed.

His tail faithers go full peacock, legs become armored, head feathers become showy as fuck.
Also distinguish his heads even further. Give them distinct beaks to go with their unique expressions.
