Hi /vp/, You probably won't believe me, but I actually work for the french translation team for pokemon Sun and Moon.
I've got this job recently, and I used to browse this board so I really want to share the little I know about the games and what I had to translate with you.
Sadly, I mainly work on the text translations so I don't know the appearance of ANY new pokemons. I am not doing the names translations, only the text.
However some trainers and characters do specify some intriguing names I can post right here.
Here is the french pokemon names I can give you, since they appear in some texts I had to translate: I noted them on my phone notes while working.
I assume the first three ones are the starters according to what I had to translate.

From English and sometimes Italian and Spanish, It actually depends.
We always translate by group and we have a sort of list of stuff to do sent every weeks.

as I said, I don't translate english NAMES, I only translate the games' texts. Peoples translating the names sent them to me before I translate the texts so I usually don't know english names.

These are actually real, they send us the names already in spanosh, we only translate some phrases.
The crow thing in spanish is Cueranja
The clown is not really a clown in spanish, it's more like a harlequin. Arlequa
