So, in light of all of the godamn "leaks", I have been wondering: what sort of pokemon would I like to see in future gens?
I have been trying to think of animals and plants or general ideas that have gone unused. One idea was for the inclusion of a steel and poison type "rogue" pokemon. I wanted to try and incorporate the assassin beetle into this idea, but having read more about the bug and it's predatory habits, I.e. using parts of its dead prey as camouflage, I think it would be neat to incorporate ghost or dark into its typing. Would anyone have any ideas for a good steel poison pokemon? Any cool ideas you want to see come to fruition? (Owlfags need not apply)

Type assignment?
>>26080579
Bug/Ground
>>26080547
>>26080592
What sort of move set or theme would you want it to have?
>>26080626
High Special Atk and Defense, low Speed kind. Learns a lot of support moves and maybe a signature move that is a Bug-Type Mud Shot about sticking the opponent with honey.
Technician, Regenerator, and Honey Gather seem like abilities it would have.
>>26080526
Bug/Ground with Sand Rush
>>26080717
Also gets Stockpile, Spit Up, and Swallow. Honestly I feel like it could get away with pure bug, because a Special Ground w/o Earth Power seems like a hindrance
A kiwidoduo is not a kiwi
>>26080792
Grass and ground with bird type moves. It is actually a kiwi fruit
More knights.
>>26080592
I don't wanna "that guy", but what about a fairy typing?
>>26080547
Thic
>>26080823
Got any examples? Animal or type associations? Steel I can see
I can see a flying/normal pokemon that look like this and it evolve into a flamingo that is fairy/flying
Also, can I share some creation for moves or ability?
Whenever I think of my own Pokémon this fucker always pops up in my head first.
Not sure how to classify it though. Just a simple pure Bug type would suffice, but I'd want a unique ability or something to make it stand out.
>>26080845
Bug. Kamen rider.
Another chess piece to complement Bisharp. Maybe a King and Queen though that might be redundant with the Jelly line.
And more living weapons. Like a spear and an axe.
>>26080882
Go for it
>>26080917
What about a rook? Rock dark
I was thinking about an dragon "attack"
Not sure about the name, siggest one please.
Its an attack that will maje the next dragon attack ×2 in power and it will even hit fairy type, plus it work like endure so the pokemon wont faint in this turn.
It will be cool if this attack is for only 5 pokemon (excluding smeargul, mew, arceus, etc) (One evo line count like one poke):
-The Haxorus line
-Tyrantrum line
-Giratina
-Drudiggon
-and a new dragon pokemon for the 6,5/7 gen
>>26080882
Flamingos are on my list of mons to see
We could always add a pink stripe to the first form and add more pink as it grows.
>>26080986
Yeah I was thinking about that.
What about a Hare for the Pikachu like Pokemon of the next gen? It can be the fastest of them all but one of the weakest one in special defense and maybe defense!
>>26080977
Sounds like too much for one move to do.
Bug/Fairy Lanternfly.
>>26081017
A rabbit pika clone? Maybe. Azurmaril kinda counts for that, thought, right? I know it's a water type, but...
A tardigrade, or "sea bear"
A giant bacteriophage.
Steel/Ghost.
Steel due to it's robotic appearance and Ghost since viruses are non-living
>>26081039
I think we just need a bug fairy. That's what it looks like. That sure it's one interesting bug. I could see it working
>>26081041
It will be on 4 feet and will have long legs like a hare and not a rabbit.
It can have elektric bolt lookong ears.
But I see youre point
>>26080579
Water/Bug
>>26081043
What type? Water and ghost? Water and bug? Water and fairy?
>>26081019
Will it be acceptable if the ENDURE is removed?
And is the list for the pokemon that can learn this move is okay?
>>26081059
Pika clones are weird and hard to peg down. I can picture that, but now I'm just thinking Raichu with a much smaller tail
A gorilla.
>>26081069
Maybe. Reduce the buff to like... 1.5x and I can see it as something.
>>26081096
Fighting type? Maybe something clever with silver back gorilla and steel type
New Idea for a move:
Rock shield
Increase a lot Defense and Special defense but lower speed
(ROCK TYPE)
>>26081105
I was thinking maybe Fighting/Ground since out of all the great apes gorillas spend the most time on the ground.
>>26081099
Okay cool
>>26081112
Opposite of shell smash. I like it
How many Philemon have deceiving types? Like duration or gliscor? What pokemon have you fought and got messed up on their typing on or forgot because of its outward appearance?
New move idea:
Electrick wires
Add a 1/16 of health everyturn
It's like one of those grass move but electrick type
(ELEK TYPE)
New move
Bramble Branches
A grass typed stealth rock
>>26081190
Like ingrain? Plug In or Recharge
>>26081223
Ingrain
>>26081214
Too op
Ferrotorn can learn too much or wtv
>>26080579
Honey, bug
>>26081214
Maybe a fire type version? Hot Coals
>>26081269
Spider cat?
>>26081251
Okay, how about having poison, fire, and bug types remove them from the field when they switch in?
Fire and poison types would simply make them wither/burn away, while bug types would eat them and gain a +1 attack boost?
>>26080526
Mongolian death worm/Graboids from tremors
Poison/ground?
>>26081291
Too much. Think much smaller. Pokemon is more like a game of advanced rock paper scissors and less like the anime
>>26081300
I would love a sand/earth worm Pokemon. Onix is cool, but it's intentionally more of a snake.
I've always thought a Grass/Ghost peacock with many eyes would be cool as hell.
>>26081335
What if it was grass ground? Earth worms are good for plants, so what if the worm was a part of the roots?
New move idea:
Punching Bag (Or Bag protection)
Attack first (Like protect) and if its not attacked during the turn, it get ×2 in Defense and Spe. Defense, but if it's attacked, the pritection is broken (So openent can Attack it after (this turn)) and the attacker get ×2 in attack.
(FIGHTING TYPE)
>>26081404
So it does our it doesn't protect? And again, too much going on for an attack. If it protected only against physical attacks and boosted def a half step, maybe.
>>26081039
>Bug/Fairy Lanternfly with a design patterned after a lawn gnome.
>>26081457
Protect until spmeone attack and I think Substitute is more conplicayed than this desu
>>26081493
Substitute is essentially putting down a pokedoll with hp equal to the damage cost to place it.
What you're talking about is a move that buffs you constantly and blocks against the first attack you get? I'm still a little lost on how it is supposed to work
>>26081490
>garden gnome
Yas
Though, now I kinda want a tengu dark type goblin thing
>>26081050
Missingno.
>>26081512
Okay I'll explain more, sorry for my bad english btw...
Youre putting a Punching Bag (or wtv) in front of you for Protection
It attacks first and it give protection (Like protect)
If youre not attacked during the turn, youre getting ×2 in Def and Spe Def.
Stats attack like toxic, Will-O-Wisp or malus on stat are inefective on the Punching Bag. (The ×2 bonus is at the end of the turn)
If youre attacked, the protection is blocking the attack, but the protection is gone after. When youre attacked, the person that attacked the Punching bag get ×1,5 on attack right after the attack.
The attack is Fighting type
Cuckorn, the cuckoo pokemon.
Real-life cuckoo birds lay their eggs in other birds' nests, and destroy the other bird's eggs in the process. I decided to translate this into the pokemon universe by giving it an ability that disables egg moves.
>>26080579
Bug/Electric or Bug/Fire
Make the honey a light or something.
Evolutionary path. Kitten -> Tiger.
Most of the Cat types we have are seriously weak. A bulky physical with camoflague and high crit moves would be dope.
A version Butterfly that changes dual typing and
>Bug - Rock as a caterpillar
(starts off with Solid Rock as an ability)
>Bug - Steel as a cocoon
(Learns Iron Defense instead of Harden, and moves like Mirror Shot)
>Bug - Fairy as a butterfly
This

holy cow what species?
Dinosaur based on 90's fasion
>Radigator
>Rextreme
>>26083264
That bottom pic is a lawn ornament. Note the wire at the bottom you stick in the ground.
>>26083138
That is one good looking lizard
are there any gargoyle type pokemon?
maybe it would be ghost/stone?
is this a good idea?
>>26080547
People would sexualize this
Here are some of mine that I scratched up a few years ago. I really like the camera idea. Playing on popculture where people can see ghosts through camera lenses.
A charizard dat can lern kamehameha n big bang attack n mayb d spirit bomb tho if he can learn mega bomb kamehameha dat wud b enuff
>>26083385
druddigon is partially based on 'goyles
I'd like to see narwhal and a lizard with a detactable regenerative tail that works as a speudo sub
>>26083388
People sexualize Dustox
Your point?
>>26081520
> a tengu dark type goblin thing
Hey, here is a cool fakemon based on this idea
>>26081553
No for a lot of reasons. Tbh all of your ideas in this thread have been trash.
>You only get defense while the bag is up, but the back works like protect so you never use the protections, seems useless.
>the bag lasts until you hit it, making it a protect that you dont have to time right and also buffs you, objectively better than an existing move means its bad
>it's a fighting type move that is not about fighting at all
Also every way that you could adjust it to fix it breaks it in another way
>make the protection weaker by making it only apply to physical attacks, but somehow both forms of defenses are still buffed?
>remove priority from it since it stays up after that round anyways, but then it's still the same move?
>every counter to it either takes multiple moves to do, or comes off as a trade
