They're all the same to obtain though? Once you have an Apricorns farm of every type, which you can get started for free at spawn, they're all equal. Set them by catch rate, and maybe based on how many lids you get out of one crafting.
Also remember that again anyone can get these for free. Iron is plentiful, Apricorn farms are everywhere, and there's a price on balls set at spawn. What I'm trying to say here is people won't actually be paying for the balls, they'll be paying for the convenience to not have to wait to cook and craft all the material necessary. You might be selling a good, but really you're providing a service.You might do well to sell completed lids for a bit cheaper as well. They need to be harvested, cooked, crafted, and hammered, so again you're selling the service of the convenience to not have to do that. take Constantinople/Istanbul for example. Even in just the Roman eras you had a bunch of contrasting buildings, from the giant domes of the Haghia Sophia, the Komnenian-period building styles that favored arches, and the economical square brick shit that most Roman apartments were made of. Then if you factor in Ottoman influence, one could talk all day about the various forms of architecture.
Just because a town has varying architecture doesn't make it bad at all.

The only issue I see with towns like that is some of you guys build really big fucking houses. You don't have a damn thing to put in them. Your 50 billion chests can just go in a basement out of sight and don't require a 30x40 house thats 100 blocks away from the street.
Even then, I like that we have some variety in town design. Orange Overlook feels pretty consistent, and Fugland is still neat in its own way.
