For some reason I've seen so many fake starters have this lately. It's odd how people can have enough talent to draw these things yet so little design sense that they can't make them look remotely like actual starters might.

This is giving me the sense of realism. Game Freak would TOTALLY make the three starters of the 20th anniversary all share the colors of RBG.

This new leak honestly has a lot going for it, and here's why I and you should think they're real.
1) The Pattern Matches Up
The Grass-starter is obviously based on an early/primitive human, which matches the theme of Prehistoric Evolution we've seen thus far.
>Vensaur = Triassic Dinosaur
>Meganium = Jurassic Sauropod
>Sceptile = Cretaceous Raptor
>Turtwig = Cenozoic Giant Turtle
>Servine = Cenozoic Lizard+Skink
>Chesnaught = Ice Age Armadillo
>This New Leak = Early Caveman/Human
Plus, the Fire starter fits the Zodiac theme. It could easily evolve into a quadrupedal tiger later on, and the stripes add to this. It also helps that some black segments are in stripes.
The Water starter is likely based on the Marine Iguana which spends time both on land and in water. I could see it evolving fully into a Mosasaur creature.
2) The Colors
Each starter also has a portion of their design colored to match their type-weakness.

>Fire has Red+Blue
>Water has Blue+Green
I could TOTALLY see Game Freak doing this for the 20th anniversary's starter Pokemon. It goes along with the theme of RBG (Gen 1) and also brings them all together. I could see them evolving or already having shared/duel types.
3) They're all fundamentally cute. Just look at that ugly Owlfag shit, not marketable. These are appealing.
4) The art. They look like something I'd expect to see from Sugi these days. Totally fit the trend we've seen in Magearna and the new bird.
