She is a news reporter that uses the Holo Caster which Lysandre developed. She spies on people with it and also uses it to promote Team Flare and cover them up. She even fucking shows up in several clips you receive on your Holo Caster for events in the game, so YES she does get involved in the story. Furthermore she's also the one pointing you towards Xerosic in the Looker Quest post-game. I know you guys are misogynist children that don't like it when female characters talk down on you but you could at least stop making shit up.
