canonically archeops runs more than flies, but they had to make its model airborne because if they didn't, then we wouldnt have the valuable and well loved battle mechanic that is sky battles.
totally worth it, I dont think I'd play the game if it wasn't for sky battles.

The model scaling is mostly way off. Garchomp's model is almost the size of Steelix, while Feraligatr is smaller than Blastoise.
They're accurate in the ORAS dex though.

Archeops is one of the best models though.
It even slows down its flying when at half HP. Although, it might make sense for it to flap harder.
Eelektross is one of the only models I'll agree are terrible. Should be way bigger. And they could easily give it a more menacing animation while still showing it levitating.
