Honestly, you're literally miles ahead of me. I get stuck on trying to draw heads and bodies and I end up failing. Drawing heads by themselves isn't so bad (no hair; still can't do that), and drawing eyes is actually pretty fun too.
Otherwise though, don't think I could draw clothes like that in a lifetime. Shading realistically is a pain, too, which is why I cel-shaded my zergling.
Still, I'd say keep at it. Shading tutorials pretty much anywhere are pretty godlike, if anything. Try using DesignDoll for poses, if you can.
