For the sake of things, a lot of the Pokemon in this thread have TCG fan bases. Durant is the best mill deck in the game. Seismitoad is cancer that yugioh players love because it doesn't let their opponent play. The rest of the line is used in Round.dek.
Miltank has a 1-energy 80 damage (which can be easily buffed to 100-140) attack in a game where the strongest basics have like 180 at most and it's a favorite among budget players who aren't playing Night March. Garbodor shuts down shit almost worse than Seismitoad. Both Darkrai EX in the game are amazing and some of my favorite cards.

It's head isn't too bad, despite having the derpy eye placement indicative of poor Gen IV design philosophies. Everything else though? Pure rubbish. Piñata streamers for legs, flimsy leaf hands... And to top it all off, it floats. Like, this thing was given Levitate. All to avoid the only type it actually resists. It doesn't make any logical sense both insiprationally or mechanically. They just sort of shat him out to pad out the roster in Sinnoh near swamp areas.
It's a real fucking shame too; it's called the Bug Catcher Pokémon and it's [slightly] based off of something really neat in nature, but they just didn't care. I like Farfetch'd, but it definitely needs to be improved, if you're using it in Single player, it's effective range is essentially having the stats of a low end middle stager among first stage pokemon, it gets outclassed pretty fast, but the Stick hold item does extend it's single player usefulness.
there's a lot of first gen pokemon that really just need a BST increase, I'm not the biggest fan of Genwunners, but gen one's pokemon are still solid, except for the fact that most are easily outclassed stats-wise.
