Kalos having PokeStar Studios makes sense since it's Hollywood.

Guaranteed to be left out. In an interview, one of GF's own said that they added trainer customization because of Kalos and its French influences specifically. I believe this was actually the same interview that they said they added exclusive features to make games unique, and that they as a company suck ass.
So its definitely gone. I'd say there's about a 10% chance of them even bringing skin tone back.
