Also, just my input but I think if they made it based off the anime it would be boring whereas a new and original trainer (not edgy) were to just catch pokemon, meet friends, stop the villains, fight a rival and become champion would be neat

There is no reason you should believe the current CGI style TPC have been using would change if a live action movie was made considering the fact that they've been using this same style for almost 10 years now. Did you see the Pokemon Go trailer? The Pokemon 20th anniversary trailer? Why would they change and go full realistic when they already have a style that works?
