Obviously it's not confirmed, but I always imagined Pawniard/Bisharp would hunt Bouffalant.
Their dex talks about how Pawniard cling to large prey and weigh them down with wounds while the lead Bisharp deals the final blow in the end. Bouffalant is really the only nearby large animal in Unova that that strategy would seem effective with.

Its more than likely that Hydreigon's the apex predator of it's area. I've always imagined it to be crocodile-esque, but more active. It will in fact attack anything when actively hunting, and pretty much anything that gets near it, it'll try and eat. Not a social animal, and really only respons with instant aggression.
It's pre-evo's imply that it has a super high metabolism too.
