I watched it when it was first airing and it looked promising, at least for the anime standards. But as it went on I realised it still had the same old shit anime formula except now Ash is Superman, and has the personality of a tree. I've been catching up recently and the only thing I've found interesting are the gym battles. And for me that isn't good enough. The majority of the anime is just filler like it was before, and I don't think anything will ever change that, its destined to be shit because its the Pokemon anime.
